Letter from the DEAC Chairman

I know it is early in the year to be talking about Dealer Election Action Committee commitments, but with the year we have just completed, in the automobile industry, I am sure you are doing a lot of planning on how you are going to be spending budgets.

I would ask that you now consider making a financial commitment to DEAC. Without DEAC's involvement this past year, dealer's positions would not have been considered or heard as effectively as they were, considering we were really low on the list of items considered critical to the economic turnaround of this country.

DEAC, IADA and NADA played a critical role in representing your interests and continue to do so, on a daily basis. These are the only organizations that represent the franchise dealer's interests and we have an obligation to invest and support them or someday we may very well wake up and not have any interests to protect.

Please plan ahead this year and make a financial investment in these organizations as they maybe our only life line going forward. It is an election year also and investing early is so important. Please take a moment and do it now! Help us sustain our representation of dealer's interest both at a federal and state level.
